This is a good documentary Frontline did. Boeing's been cutting corners for years now and it finally caught up with them.
This John Barnett guy has been blowing the whistle on them for years. Looks like the people in power at Boeing have had enough.

howid does that work? Boeing has a hit squad for dog whistle blowers and the FBI gives them a pass or is unable to find enough evidence to arrest. It's not unable. We can eliminate that. Has to be look through the other way. Once you establish that, it can't be Boeing. And it can't be look the other way. It can only be FBI took care of their problem or a problem for another corrupt government agency. They are not going to be passive bystanders and Boeing can't even fly planes. They are not capable of having a kill squad. At most, they put in an FBI order.

Don't recognize what Boeing has become, but a long, long time ago I was a Boeing engineer for several years.

Worked as a student on Boeing's Voyager proposal to NASA (eventually Martin-Marietta won the contract), at Everett on the 747 before #1 rolled out, on Minuteman 3/727/737 tooling drawings, and then as a research engineer on what was to become GPS technology (modeling error covariance). A great experience with some quite competent people.

Sad for me to see Boeing's problems with their current designs and manufacturing.

Boeing is critical to the military industrial complex - yea, it's certainly possible hit squads want to send a message not to squeal.
